- 2 cups cooked, shredded chicken
- 1 cup frozen peas and carrots
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/3 cup butter
- 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 3/4 cups chicken broth
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 pie crusts
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in onions and cook until translucent.
- Add flour and stir for a minute, then gradually whisk in chicken broth and milk.
- Cook until thickened, then add chicken, peas, carrots, salt, and pepper.
