Deliciously easy Christmas Sausage Rolls made with tender beef and crispy turkey bacon.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 pound turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup puff pastry sheets
  • 1 egg, beaten for egg wash

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, chopped turkey bacon, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, and black pepper.
  3. Roll out puff pastry and cut into rectangle shapes.
  4. Place a spoonful of the meat mixture on each pastry rectangle.
  5. Roll the pastry over the filling and seal the edges.
  6. Brush the tops with beaten egg.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add cheese to the filling.
  • These rolls can be made ahead and frozen for later use.
