A velvety cranberry mousse that brings joy to your holiday gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh cranberries
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon gelatin
  • 3 tablespoons water

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, simmer cranberries and sugar until the cranberries pop.
  2. Let the mixture cool, then puree it.
  3. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream and fold in the cranberry puree.
  4. Dissolve gelatin in warm water and incorporate it into the mousse mixture.
  5. Spoon the mousse into serving dishes and refrigerate until set.

Notes

  • For a sweeter mousse, adjust the sugar to taste.
