Delicious turkey meatloaf paired with a savory mushroom gravy.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1/2 pound turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup diced onion
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 cups sliced mushrooms
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup beef broth

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, turkey bacon, breadcrumbs, egg, onion, milk, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
  3. Mix until well combined and form into a loaf shape.
  4. Place the meatloaf in a baking dish and bake for 1 hour.
  5. In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the mushrooms and cook until browned.
  6. Pour in the beef broth and simmer for about 5 minutes until thickened.
  7. Once the meatloaf is done, slice and serve with mushroom gravy over the top.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add minced garlic to the meatloaf mixture.
  • Let meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
