Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Wash the oranges and boil them for 1 hour, then let them cool.
  3. Blend the cooled oranges (including the skin) in a food processor until smooth.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine sugar and oil, then add eggs and mix well.
  5. Add the blended oranges to the mixture and stir.
  6. In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
  7. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
  8. Finally, fold in the orange juice and mix until just combined.
  9. Pour the batter into a greased cake pan.
  10. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
