  • 4 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 4 cups milk
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 8 ounces turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the macaroni according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  3. In a pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour to make a roux.
  4. Gradually whisk in the milk, stirring until thickened.
  5. Add the cheeses, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt. Mix until cheese is melted.
  6. Combine the cheese sauce with the cooked macaroni and turkey bacon.
  7. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
