- 1 pound elbow macaroni
- 4 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 4 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 4 cups milk
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 6 ounces turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 6 ounces chicken ham, diced
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the macaroni according to package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
- In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour and whisk for about 1 minute.
- Gradually whisk in the milk, continuing to cook until the mixture is thickened.
- Remove from heat and stir in the cheeses, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, black pepper, and salt until combined.
- Add the cooked macaroni, turkey bacon, and chicken ham to the cheese sauce, mixing until well combined.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until bubbly and golden on top.
Notes
- For a crispier top, broil for the last 2-3 minutes.
- Feel free to add breadcrumbs on top before baking for added texture.
