- 1 pound elbow macaroni
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 4 cups milk
- 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup cooked and crumbled turkey bacon
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the macaroni according to package instructions until al dente.
- In a large saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour and cook for 1-2 minutes.
- Gradually whisk in the milk, cooking until the mixture thickens.
- Stir in the cheeses until melted and smooth.
- Add the cooked macaroni and turkey bacon, then season with paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Transfer mixture to a greased baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden.
