- 1 pound elbow macaroni
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 4 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 4 cups milk
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup cooked turkey bacon, chopped
- 1 cup cooked chicken ham, diced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the macaroni according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large saucepan, melt butter over medium heat and stir in flour to create a roux.
- Gradually whisk in milk and cook until the mixture thickens.
- Stir in the cheeses until melted and smooth.
- Add the cooked macaroni, turkey bacon, chicken ham, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper to the cheese sauce, mixing well.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and top with breadcrumbs.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden and bubbly.
