- 1 pound elbow macaroni
- 4 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 4 ounces turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 4 ounces chicken ham, diced
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the elbow macaroni according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
- In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour and cook for 1-2 minutes.
- Gradually whisk in the milk and cream, cooking until the mixture thickens.
- Remove from heat and stir in the cheese until melted and smooth.
- Add the cooked macaroni, turkey bacon, chicken ham, and seasonings. Mix well.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and smooth the top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until bubbly and golden on top.
Notes
- For a crispier top, broil for an additional 2-3 minutes at the end.
