  • 1 cup turkey bacon, cooked and chopped
  • 4 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large pot, cook the macaroni according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  3. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder to create a roux.
  4. Gradually whisk in the milk, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in the cheddar cheese until melted.
  6. Combine the cooked macaroni and turkey bacon with the cheese sauce and mix well.
  7. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden on top.
